Chicago to Mackinac Island Yacht Race

The Chicago to Mackinac Race is the world’s oldest and longest (333 miles) freshwater distance race. Conducted by the Chicago Yacht Club, this offshore race begins in Chicago (at Navy Pier) and ends at Mackinac Island, MI. This distance is usually sailed within 40-60 hours depending on the boat type and prevailing conditions. Nearly 350 boats compete annually.
