Motorcycles on the Mac –
formerly known as the Midnight Ride

Join us as the St. Ignace Events Committee hosts a new version of the “Midnight Ride”, to honor the memory of Ron Rowe.  It was Ron who decided to make the Midnight Ride  an annual event to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  This event has raised an estimated $400,000 to JDRF.  The Events Committee will continue hosting a rally on this August weekend every year, and is dedicating the inaugural Motorcycles on the Mac event to the memory of Ron Rowe.  Ron lost his battle with diabetes November 28, 2015.

Saturday, August 19 (tentative schedule)

  • 7:00 a.m. – Staging in St. Ignace at Little Bear Arena
  • 8:00 a.m. – Biker Meeting
  • 8:30 a.m. – Blessing of the Bikes
  • 9:30 a.m. – Parade across Mackinac Bridge from St. Ignace to Mackinaw City.  Use free bridge token for return crossing.
  • 12:00 p.m. – Lunch at Little Bear East Arena and Memorial Tribute to Ron Rowe
  • 9:15 p.m. – Parade of Lights, leaves from Little Bear East Arena (through downtown St. Ignace). Be sure to drink responsibly if you plan to participate in the parade of lights.
  • 10:00 p.m. – Fireworks

Registration fee of $35 per person (additional $30 for passenger) includes:
