 July and August in St. Ignace, Michigan!

Sundays

  • Movies by the Bay:  Outdoor movies at the American Legion Park.  These family movies are shown at dusk (starting between 10pm and 10:30).

Mondays

  • Historic Walking Tour:  The event starts at 6:30pm at the Museum of Ojibwa Culture with a native cultural teaching. At 7:00pm, the event continues with the walking tour along the Huron Boardwalk.
  • Sunset Cruises:  These cruises depart from the Star Line Main Dock at 8:30pm in July and 8:00pm in August.

Tuesdays

  • Wine Tasting:  Held at The Pavillion, 180 N. State Street at 5pm. Serving Michigan wines and snacks.  There is no charge for this event.
  • Historic Walking Tour:  The event starts at 6:30pm at the Museum of Ojibwa Culture with a native cultural teaching. At 7:00pm, the event continues with the walking tour along the Huron Boardwalk.

Wednesdays

  • Locals on the Bay:  Free waterfront musical concerts featuring local talent.   Sit on the bleachers or benches, you can also bring your own lawn chairs.  These concerts are from 7:00-8:30pm at the St. Ignace Public Marina.
  • Wednesday Walk & Talk:  Join us on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm for special programs and guided walks at the Father Marquette Memorial on Boulevard Drive.

Thursdays

  • Farmers Market:  Everything from fresh produce, baked goods, jams and jellies to handcrafted items will be found at our Farmers Market.  Stop in at the
    St. Ignace Marina from 4:00-7:00pm, every Thursday through September.
  • Wine Tasting:  Held at The Pavillion, 180 N. State Street at 5pm. Serving Michigan wines and snacks.  There is no charge for this event.
  • Bayside Live:  Free waterfront musical concerts featuring area talent.  Sit on the bleachers or benches, you can also bring your own lawn chairs.  These concerts are from 7:00-8:30pm at the St. Ignace Public Marina.

Fridays

  • Friday Night at the Museum:  Free native cultural presentations or a musical performance by Grandmother Moon Drum Circle  can be found at the Museum of Ojibwa Culture at 6:00pm.
  • Bike Night:  A casual informal gathering of motorcyclists with live music, held at the First National Bank, downtown St. Ignace at 7:00pm.

Saturdays

  • Wine Tasting:  Held at The Pavillion, 180 N. State Street at 5:00pm. Serving Michigan wines and snacks.  There is no charge for this event.
  • Real Street Theater:  Join us from 7:00-10:00pm on the sidewalks of downtown St. Ignace for jugglers, stiltwalkers, magicians, balloon benders, and more with Tommy Tropic and Buskermania.
  • Fireworks:  Take a front-row seat anywhere along the Huron Boardwalk, Kiwanis Beach or the St. Ignace Marina for a great fireworks experience.  The fireworks start at dusk, which is around 10:00 to 10:30pm.
