Special 4th of July Concert by RockSolid

RockSolid is an auditioned group of high school age musicians from across Alabama.  Sponsored jointly by the Sign Language choir from Memorial Baptist Church in Sterling Heights, MI, this group has performed concerts in Portland, Maine, St. Seville, Spain and at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, Lake Martin Amphitheatre 4th of July celebration, and Huntsville, Alabama’s Concert in the Park series.  They will be singing a concert of “The Music of America” for the 4th of July celebration at 7pm at the St. Ignace Marina.

The group will be singing a combination of meaningful patriotic music such as  “American Child”, “R.O.C.K. in the USA”, and music that is close to Michigan’s heart from Bob Seger and Motown.
