Native American Beadwork Workshop
Tricia Boucha is the owner/artist of Mended Pieces Mosaics. She has taught and created fine-art mosaics for over 40 years. Her works are in public spaces, government buildings, hospitals, retail stores and private collections. She studied architecture, restoration, and design at Oakland University and Henry Ford Community College.
Tricia spent many summers in the Eastern Upper Peninsula learning about her Native American heritage from her grandmother. She uses her artistic talents and beading skill to create intricate beadwork jewelry with native design. She as sold and exhibited her works across the United States and Europe.
Participants will make their own Ojibwa-inspired cuff bracelet. There is a $35 fee to attend this workshop. Pre-registration is required and limited to 6 participants.
